This blog is written by three crafty gals who like to turn crafts and kitchen creations into something beautiful. We have been doing this for as long as we can remember with inspiration fueled by many generations of women in our family who have crafted along with us.
Expect to see projects and tutorials on the following:
- cake decorating

Here are the gals putting this blog together…
As a wife and mother of two girls, I am drawn to crafts that are practical, functional and fun. I like taking on many different projects at one time because I tend to have a short attention span. I am also fond of crafts and activities that can be completed quickly because with two little ones at home, there’s not always a lot of time for crafting, so sometimes things need to be quick and easy. I also enjoy doing crafts for kids or with kids, so I can get my toddler involved. I am a big fan of crocheting, scrapbooking, decoupage, furniture rehab, redecorating and home decor items among many other things. Over my lifetime though, I have been exposed to many different crafts from relatives and friends, including my two awesome cousins who write this blog as well.
I have been involved in crafts for as long as I can remember. As kids we did alot of crafts with our grandmothers and mom, they were very big influences for us. And I am forever grateful to them for inspiring me to be creative. Having a creative outlet is so important to me. I dabble in a little bit of everything…crocheting, scrapbooking, card making, sewing, some jewellery. If I find a project I like and am inspired then I try it! I love photos so any craft to do with pictures I will try. Recently I have also been inspired to try furniture DIY’s. So many of the crafts I do some how involve the lovely ladies I share this blog with! Leanne, Stephanie and I are so happy we started this blog and are able to share our adventures in crafting with you! Hopefully we inspire you in some way 🙂 ~H.
I like to make things. It doesn’t always go according to plan, but I certainly like to try. I go through phases and have a tendency to leave a project halfway through. I have about 6 scrapbooks that are halfway finished, and now I forget what is happening in the pictures that are meant to fill all the spaces. WOMP WOMP. Oh well! I have the memories, mostly.
I like to eat. It might be my number one hobby. I feel like it’s a skill that I have perfected, and I’m happy to share my recipes and tips and tricks! Cupcakes, cakes and desserts are my specialty. Obviously they are the fattiest, so clearly, I gravitate toward things that are bad for me. Of course, I will happily share these with you. Don’t they say it’s better to not go down alone? No? Well, I’m sure someone has said that.
I’ll post my projects in DIY, baking, cooking, crafting, jewelry, etc. Most of my unfinished projects will fall into crochet, scrapbooking… ooooh. Okay. Who am I kidding. I leave a lot of things unfinished. Except dessert. I always finish dessert.
